Music Vision

The music of “Into The Red Sky” is mainly inspired by the dark atmosphere, raw emotion as well as the layered and epic soundscapes found in Imminence’s music, particularly on their album “The Black“. The score should integrate classical elements such as violins and dark, choir-like vocal layers for the celestial and biblical vibe, plus the intense metal/metalcore vocals and instrumentation for the fight sequences and absolute terror in the visuals to create an entirely unique and iconic sound for the series. An organ would be a phenomenal addition as well, much like in the song “Tenebre Rosso Sangue“ by Keygen Church… A soundtrack with an organ will always beat a soundtrack without an organ, right?

The more introspective and quiet moments of the show are accompanied by ambient, dark, immersive and atmospheric soundscapes, just like the instrumental tracks on Imminence’s “The Black“ album as well as the “Death Note OST“ by Hideki Taniuchi and Yoshihisa Hirano. The “Death Note OST“ is also my main inspiration for the horror tracks in the show, especially the second half of “Semblance of Dualism“ comes to mind.

On top of that, specific songs like “Kingslayer“, “Dear Diary,“, “Kool-Aid“, “Obey“, “It Was Written In Blood“, “Dehumanized“, “Crucify Me“, “The Fox and the Wolf“, “i don’t know what to say“, “Memorial“, “A Devastating Liberation“ and “Don’t Go“ by Bring Me The Horizon as well as “555“ and “Fade into the Dream“ by Sub Urban, “So Called Life“ by Three Days Grace, “Hidden in the Sand“ by Tally Hall, “Leave“ by Whirr, “heavenly dwelling“ by CHANGETHEWXRLD, “My Favorite Ghost“ by Mr. Kitty and finally “Apocalypse“ by Cigarettes After Sex, form the tone and theme of the soundtrack for “Into The Red Sky“. “Axis Mundi“, Imminence’s latest album has recently inspired me to add some new major story beats to the series as well.

I would love for the show to feature a cinematic opening and ending theme, a full original soundtrack and several mid-episode songs that accompany key narrative moments, with vocals used selectively to heighten the emotional significance of the scene. I want to ensure that the music in “Into The Red Sky“ is not treated as a background element but instead as an integral part of the storytelling experience.
